February marks my four-year anniversary with McGowan Transcriptions! It’s hard to believe how quickly time has flown by, and I am grateful for the incredible journey I’ve had with this amazing team.

In the world of work, four years can be likened to the linen anniversary of marriage. Linen symbolises comfort, durability, and the intertwining of threads to create a strong and lasting bond. These qualities perfectly resonate with the experience I’ve had at McGowan Transcriptions. Just like a woven fabric, our team has worked seamlessly together, each thread contributing to the success and growth of our organisation. Over the past four years, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing our collective efforts transform challenges into opportunities, and hurdles into milestones.

Looking back, it’s not just about the projects completed or the deadlines met; it’s about the relationships built, the challenges overcome, and the collective growth we’ve achieved. As we move forward, I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead and confident that we will continue to flourish.

As I celebrate this workiversary, it prompts me to consider the broader changes in my life. Approaching my 8th wedding anniversary, I’m also gearing up to commemorate nine joyful years with our furry companion, Vader. Bid farewell to my 20s, I welcomed my 30s with a bit of reluctance (handling it much more gracefully now)! Additionally, in the midst of COVID times (remember those?), my husband and I seized the opportunity presented by the stamp duty holiday scheme, facilitating the upgrade from our first home to a space where we envision countless happy years ahead.

A lot has changed in these four years (both personally and work wise) but one thing that has remained consistent is the support received from my colleagues throughout and I’d like to thank them for being such an important part of my McGowan journey so far.
