Outstanding Contribution!
As much as we praise our transcription team internally we don’t often shout about them externally, but I’ve been so encouraged this week by the support shown from our team that I wanted to share how fabulous they genuinely are.
The transcription projects we handle are often challenging in terms of the subject matter and range from group discussions about retail therapy to highly medical or technical depth interviews. Our transcription team specialise in different areas so we arrange our team into groups according to speciality. However, one member of our team not only has made herself something of an expert in all subject areas and transcription formats, she also happens to be our team mentor and has become the go-to person for any question that might arise be it about grammar, transcription style, specific client requirements and all manner of transcription complexities.
These last few weeks Li Collins has surpassed herself in her efforts to assist the team by whatever means at her disposal: our online company messaging system, sharing details about transcription software settings, creating mini video tutorials and always being around to give an encouraging word or bring a smile.
This month Li was recognised internally for her outstanding contribution, specifically in the area of creating video tutorials and slide presentations for a particularly complex research project, and here are some responses from the team I wanted to share:
As a way of paying forward Li’s efforts at helping others, we will be making a contribution to a charity that is very close to her heart. I’ll leave her to share with you next month what charity she has chosen and the story behind it.
