At McGowan Transcriptions we never subcontract transcription work to a third party and none of our transcribers transcribe for anybody else.
Before joining McGowan Transcriptions several tests are completed to ensure only the highest calibre transcriptionists become part of our team.
Each transcriber has signed a full and comprehensive confidentiality agreement.

Senior Transcriber
I was brought up in Essex and read Classics at Cambridge University, and professionally have had many strings to my bow: after graduating I trained as an actor, and have combined work in that field with various jobs from bookselling to EFL teaching, via a stint as administrative assistant to a freelance journalist. I'm currently training to become an accredited indexer, and I record and publish free public-domain audio books (for LibriVox.org) in my spare time.
I joined McGowan Transcriptions in February 2004 and find transcribing interviews appeals to my verbally meticulous streak. I live on the northern edge of London with my partner.
