At McGowan Transcriptions we never subcontract transcription work to a third party and none of our transcribers transcribe for anybody else.
Before joining McGowan Transcriptions several tests are completed to ensure only the highest calibre transcriptionists become part of our team.
Each transcriber has signed a full and comprehensive confidentiality agreement.

Senior Transcriber - Legal Services Specialist
In 1999 I qualified as a Solicitor after seven years of hard study and training.
I went on to specialise as a Commercial Property Solicitor and by 2005 I was Head of the Telecommunications Department for one of the leading law firms in the South West of England. I headed up a team that worked exclusively for Vodafone, a client who demanded the very highest level of service.
The hours were horrendous and the stress levels intolerable. I increasingly felt as if life was passing me and there were many things I was missing out on. So, in March 2006 I moved to the Alicante region of Spain where I now enjoy a very different way of life with my family.
I joined McGowan Transcriptions in October 2006 and now feel I have a great work/life balance. Whilst I still enjoy working to tight timescales and on challenging projects, I am able to also enjoy and fully embrace the very relaxed Spanish lifestyle.
I remain a Member of the Law Society in the UK and have a wide range of legal knowledge, including Residential and Commercial Conveyancing, Company & Employment Law, Wills & Probate and Personal Litigation.
