Before joining McGowan Transcriptions several tests are completed to ensure only the highest calibre transcriptionists become part of our team.
Each transcriber has signed a full and comprehensive confidentiality agreement.

Prior to creating McGowan Transcriptions in 1993 I worked in the market research Industry for DRSM, Field Management Ltd, and Hall & Partners International in roles ranging from field manager to support manager.
During my time in the market research industry I dealt with many transcribers and was frustrated by the lack of professionalism and accuracy in what was then a small industry, which is just one of the many reasons I founded McGowan Transcriptions 17 years ago.
The last 17 years have brought many changes to the transcription industry and technology has moved at a great speed: in 1993 we had no modems; now in 2010 we have digital sound technology. But nothing can compare to our team of transcribers in terms of dedication, accuracy and professionalism.
